Instructions to transfer your SRECs to the SREC Delaware Auction Account

GATS stands for Generation Attribute Tracking System, and it is the SREC Tracking Agency. Solar owners or managers of solar facilities enter solar generation in GATS, and SRECs are created within GATS. SRECs can then be sold by transferring them to an interested buyer’s GATS account.

1. Login

Login to your PJM GATS account.

2. View number of SRECs

Hover your mouse over “Certificates” in the top toolbar, then hover your mouse over “View.” From there select “Certificates (CEPS).”

3a. If you have one SREC to transfer

Under the “Action” column, click the “Transfer” link for the SREC you would like to transfer.

3b. If you have more than 1 SREC to transfer

Click the “Batch Transfer” tab at the top of the page.

Check the boxes under the “AddBatch” column for the SRECs you would like to transfer. Next, click the “Batch Transfer” button.

4. Transfer your SRECs

Choose the option to transfer your SREC(s) to “Another Account Holder”. Select “SREC Delaware Procurement Program” from the drop-down menu — note that if you have previously transferred credits to SREC Delaware, you may see SREC Delaware Procurement Program near the top of the drop-down menu rather than in alphabetical order. Enter in your “Price Per Certificate”. Make sure you enter the price without any “$” and that the price you enter is your offer price for your SREC(s) in the SREC Delaware auction. NOTE: In the “Transfer Type” drop down, choose “Spot Market”.

Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page. Congratulations, you have transferred your SREC(s) to SREC Delaware!
